Agricultural and Food Sciences Society

The society runs social and information events to connect agriculture students, including Ag Ball, Boat Cruise, Ag Games, regular Farma Parma nights and industry information sessions.

Welcome!

This is the official student club for students studying the Bachelor of Agriculture or related courses at Melbourne University, or any other students interested in Agricultural industries.

We run events throughout the year to connect Agriculture students, including our annual Ag Ball and boat cruise as well as our regular Farma Parma Nights where students have the opportunity to talk to professionals in the industry while enjoying a good old-fashioned Parma!

Learn about the unique aspects of your course including the option to study at the Dookie farm Campus and the large range of job and career opportunities that will follow. We also have a Meat judging team that competes annually in the Intercollegiate meat judging in Wagga Wagga.

Whether you’re from the city or the country, if you’ve got an interest in agriculture or just don’t mind getting a little dirt on your boots, this is the place for you.

We (The society) cannot wait to meet you and see you down at the Farm parma!

Below are some Happy snaps from our society, if any catches your eye this is the place for you!
